Nope, orange isn't my favorite color

Hi
My blogging friend Juliet  tells me to post the good and the bad.  So here it is.
I am beginning to see that water coloring isn't one of the things I do well.
I also don't care for orange so I did the blackboard treatment on this card after I embossed it.  I like it a "little" better.
Envelope and card are dry embossed with the Cuttlebug folder.
Have a Blessed day.

Orange isn't my favorite color either, but yours looks pretty with this basket of tulips.

I'm also not good at water coloring either. The only way I've ever been at all happy with my water coloring was to use water color pencils, and that was only on stamped images. The pencils are easier than the regular water colors.

I've also done it with things like Twinkling H2Os, but that isn't the same as trying to use regular water colors, because you don't have to do as much shading with them, especially on stamped images. I think it takes lots of practice to do the real water coloring.

Well at least you had a go. Orange is a difficult colour to use I agree. I have cards I have made and somehow just don't work - some you win, some you lose

what's wrong with that? I think it is very springy! I love orange, it is very cheerful, esp. with yellow tulips!

Orange may not be your favorite color but I think you did a great job using it for this card. Good job getting out of your comfort zone. Thanks for sharing!

Happy Spring!

I think your card looks nice - so spring time!!! You only don't like your coloring because you haven't seen mine -- I'm horrible at coloring anything, with anything... lol!

I wouldn't have used this orange for this image, but the chalkboard tech and the embossing do soften it a bit! I have so much weird orange - it comes in mixed color paper packs, and I never know what to do with it.
