Hi
Once again, I forgot to document where I got the file to do this cut out.  Sorry.  This card has been a piece by piece card.  The pink background was a card, but when I cut it on the Cricut the fold line actually cut.  In order to salvage it I folded a piece of paper in the middle and punched around the edges.  Then I used  silver strips as a hinge.   I adhered the pink card to red cardstock.   This one really needs a sentiment at the top to fill in the space and I will think of one later when I need to use the card.   Lined the envelope.  By the way, the envelopes are some that were left over from a card store that went out of business.  What I do is cut each side off to fit the card and use score tap to close them up.  Works fine and I have several colors.  While I had this one open I just cut a liner for it and glued it in.  Then used the score tape to finish up the sides.
Have a Blessed day.

Welcome to new baby

Hi
I wish you could see how cute this is in person.  I popped the whole baby laying on a cloud with pop dots.  The background is the rest of the sheet of paper. This was a 12" x 12" designer paper from Dollar Store.
Since I don't scrapbook, I have started to cut them up and use them in cards.
The sweet baby sentiment is a stamp from SU and the other little stamp was a cheapie and it said hello friend so I just chopped out the friend.
Have a Blessed day.

Book with Helen Keller quote

Hi
I loved this method of enclosing something neat inside.
More pretty papers being used up.  Woodgrain done with Sizzix folder with a bit of ink rubbed on it.  The belly band and butterfly were an afterthought.
The quote is from Helen Keller.  I tried to get a good pic of the quote, hence 2 pics of the inside.
Clic on pic.

Stazon and vellum

Hi
I have gotten away from my little note cards for awhile, not too long as I have many folders and many embellishments I want to use for these simple little cards.
This is such a cool technique and the link is below.  Clicking on photo  (as usual) will show the white a little better.  I took two photos to try and show the flower more clearly.  The envelope is the same color as the background.

Little butterfly note cards

Hi
Not much to tell about these cards.  The folder is Sizzix and the 3D butterflies and flowers come from the Dollar Store.  I lined the envelopes with colored computer paper after I ran it through an embossing folder.

Roses and glitter

Hi
Here is the remainder of a piece of gorgeous design paper.  I just fussy cut the rose and popped it up as well as the sentiment.
Fairly simple card but gorgous.  Used the middle part of the paper that was plain to line the envelope.  Again, as usual clicking on the pic shows the detail.

Pretty in blue and white

Hi
I have been making a lot of these simple little cards because I have so many folders that haven't been used and also embellishments that needed using up.  The cards are 4.25" x 5.5".  An 8.5" x 11.0" piece of card stock gives 2 cute little cards.  The gorgeous paper that lines the card and envelope was a freebie.  So sorry I don't remember who did it but if you recognize it I will be happy to give credit.  Yes Angelin here I am again with the blue.  Honest I will change colors soon; promise.  :)
The folder is from The Paper Studio.
The flowers are a Marianne Design flower made with fun foam and stickles added.  The white flower is really white but showed pink in the photo.
As usual, clicking on the pic will show embossing detail.
Have a Blessed day.

Butterfly addiction

Hi
It's official....I am addicted to butterflies.
Why do I say that?  Last night we were taken out for supper to Swiss Chalet.  On our way out I noticed a drawing of a large butterfly that was made simple for children to color.  Yep, you guessed it.  I asked the server if I could have it and yes it came home with me.  lol

Nope, orange isn't my favorite color

Hi
My blogging friend Juliet  tells me to post the good and the bad.  So here it is.
I am beginning to see that water coloring isn't one of the things I do well.
I also don't care for orange so I did the blackboard treatment on this card after I embossed it.  I like it a "little" better.
Envelope and card are dry embossed with the Cuttlebug folder.

Blue on blue

Hi
Just another simple little card.  The folder I used on the handmade envelope and card are from Sizzix.  The butterflies are 3D and the rick rack was a peel off from Dollar Store.

White and silver

Hi
Some smaller than my usual 5" x 61/5" cards are in the future.  I have a lot of butterflies so will start using them up.  Now I just have to get sentiments made.  Wish I had a simple way of doing those.

Embossing envelopes

Hi
A little bit of dry embossing goes a long way !!
Yes it is the same butterfly picture with a different background.  Also, it is a bit smaller and no vellum butterfly on top.  I had printed several before I knew how to resize and so I have a few of them in different sizes.  lol
What I like about this card is the homemade envelope with embossing.
The brown background and butterfly were run through the Cuttlebug together.  Then I made an envelope to fit with some of the mountain of design paper I have.  Ran it through the Cuttlebug and voila a lovely simple card with lovely envelope.

Embossing folder for the envelope is Cuttlebug Mary Ann.
Embossing folder for the butterfly is by the Paper Studio.  If you want the name I will hunt it up if you email me.  Of course clicking on the pic shows more detail.

Butterfly

Hi
Just another simple card.
Image printed onto cardstock.  Same image printed onto vellum and butterfly cut out and wings folded up.
Nothing too complicated.

Using pretty paper

Hi
Just a simple little card.  This is some of the beautiful paper I have been hoarding.  Behind the card is a peek of the inside of the envelope with some of the paper as an insert. The key swings freely on the silverey gold tape.   I have no sentiment yet.

Hi
There were just a couple tiny pieces of that gorgeous holograph paper left and it cried out to be made into a card.
Poppy stamp from SU.  Painted with re inker and popped up with pop dots.
Cuttlebug folder is Kimberley's card.
Punch is from EK, sorry can't remember the name.
Remember clicking on pic shows details.  (sometimes even ones we don't want shown lol )

Four little ifroggers

Hi
Just loving this little guy.  He is so much fun to play with.  I have four grandchildren and so since time is running short (plus postage is expensive for raised cards) I decided to put all four froggies on the same card for them all.
This will be entered into http://2cuteinkdt.blogspot.ca/.
I need to add these 2 links   https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ifrogger/id587404667?mt=8  http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=432866563458204&set=a.216275838450612.52575.189866967758166&type=1&theater

"Hoppy" St. Patrick's Day

Hi
This cute little frog is a digi called  ifrogger.
The sentiment says "Hoppy" St. Patrick's Day and it is on a clear banner. However, I did not post that because the recipients name is on it.  As so often happens he looks so much cuter when you click on him.  The googlie eyes are so cute.

I am entering him in  the challenge on http://2cuteinkdt.blogspot.ca/
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ifrogger/id587404667?mt=8  and

This is my first challenge so am not sure it is going to get to the right place but he was so much fun to color and make the card.

Florida 2004

Hi
The photo was taken in 2004 when we spent some time in Florida looking after an Altzheimer lady.  This is the Atlantic Ocean north of Fort Lauderdale.
This gorgeous paper is some I won from Capadia Designs.  I hated to use it but if you just hoard it no one else gets to see its beauty so I grabbed the old craft knife and.......
The colors are so amazing so I have used different pics to show you how gorgeous it is and how it changes.  Not sure if clicking on the pic will give you a better view or not.
Have a Blessed day.

Love this technique

Hi
Isn't this a gorgeous technique?  I totally copied it from
http://www.youtube.com/user/stampwithtami?feature=watch
I think I will make a few more because I do have a few dryer sheets.  I don't have many as I don't use them except for crafting.
I used SU Old Olive for stamping and the SU tree set  Lovely as a tree with the cardstock being old olive as well.  The sparkle is gorgeous so click on the pic if you want to see it.
I have a few things from SU because I thought I could become a demo but with my lifestyle it proved not feasible.
Have a Blessed day.

What a mix of colors !!

Hi
OK I am not totally crazy about this card but promised Juliet I would post my experiment.
I like the snow effect on the wreath that I used to frame my card even though I am not crazy about the foot or more of snow we had.  I like to take my pics outside if I can.
The chrysanthemum is yellow cardstock with orange ink made from an orange reinker and water.   Pic of the flowers that inspired me to try for the same affect was this gorgeous plant was in Safeway in Colorado.
The aperture is cut with the Cricut cartridge Pagoda card on page 56.
The frame for the sentiment is an EK Real Estate Sign Large Punch  with the center part from a freebie by http://cleversomeday.wordpress.com and the Just Because is a stamp from SU probably.
Have a Blessed day.
