A little feather, a little flower and a bit of ribbon

Hi
This ribbon was destined for a card last year but never made it. Finally I grabbed white card stock and embossed it with (what else) Victoria Cuttlebug folder. Tied the ribbon around the panel, added the wee rose colored with chalk to match and tucked a couple of feathers behind the rose and that's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Butterfly and chrysanthemum

Hi
When I was making the wedding card my mind must have been somewhere else. When I folded the card I discovered that the sides didn't meet, they overlapped. That was not what I wanted for the wedding card. I hated to waste that lovely striped black cardstock so I grabbed a stamp and white ink and made it a friendship card. (stamps are from Michaels)
As I have said before, there are tons of things on my desk that need to be applied to a card so I thought the chyrsanthemum was rather pretty. Well then the butterfly beckoned to me and there you have it. Click on the stamp for clarification of the words. Of course I had to have some bling so put some Diamond stickles on the butterfly, which by the way is just sitting there. I may remove it (or not).
That's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Wedding card for Matthew and Rachael

Hi
My friends son is getting married and their colors are black and white. This is such a nice card to do. I used a striped black card stock and white card stock for the wedding dress. Ran the dress and panels through the Cuttlebug with the Victoria folder. Used a few diamond stick ons for the buttons on the shirt and the ribbon around her waistband. The template for the wedding dress and tux is by Lynn Pratt. The envelope is lined with black and embossed with the Victoria folder. I really love the Apache Wedding Blessing and so I printed it on velum and attached the ribbon to the inside. I think if you would click on the verse it would be totally visible. (a photographer I am NOT lol)
Well that's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Butterfly and accordian flower

Hi
There have been so many gorgeous accordian flowers on the different blogs and I just had to try one. They are addicting. lol
I layered patterned paper on white cardstock. Embossed the pink panel with Cuttlebug Victoria folder. I think it is a little bland and I would have liked some sparkle on it but maybe next time. Had a little scrap of burgundy which I made a band of to hold the flower and butterfly. I had the butterfly from another project so just put some shimmer glue on it. I lined the envelope with pink shimmery paper too.
That's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Curts Lily Pad

Hi
Warning: Picture heavy blog
This one's for you Curt, Jay and "the boyz".
First of all I fell in love with one of Curts pictures of the week at http://curtsplayhouse.blogspot.com/ so with Curts kind permission I am using it on my card.
This card is 6.5" x 4.5" and had to be custom cropped. lol (sounds professional doesn't it?)
The butterfly is a Creatable from Marianne design and you will see a lot of it in the future.
The embossing is done with Cuttlebug die and embossing folder (sorry can't remember the name).
The interior is Curts photo of the week (can't remember what week but a long time ago). I also see that my blade on my cutter is cutting rough. Time for a new one. But before the card leaves my place I will have smoothed out the photo edges.
The envelope is a little oversized to accomodate the raised butterfly and "water lily" flower.
The "water lily" flower is one I made and instead of curling the petals I pinched them up.
All the paper used is from the DS or Staples. (No designer paper for this kid, yet).
Well, that's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Running horse

Hi
I have so many things on my work table to finish. This running horse has been waiting to be put together since before Christmas.
I layered plain white cardstock with handmade gold flecked paper, I didn't make it. It came in a huge big pack from a discount store. Then a layer of gold paper and then the negative cut from running horses. Sorry I didn't write down where I got the svg from, so if anyone recognizes it, please let me know so I can give you credit.
That's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Butterfly from negative

Hi
After I made the battenburg lace and butterfly card I had this beautiful negative left. It just begged to be used.
Using Martha Stewart punch (sorry forgot the name) I made a border on soft blue card stock. Since I haven't quite learned how to go around corners yet there was a little boo boo on each corner so out came a couple of flowers from "the stash" and the little blue extra pieces from the punch seemed to work well for stamens. Had a little scrap of paper and used my hole punch to make a few little dots of textured paper for the wings and voila, that's it for me.
Have a Blessed day.
