My first pyramage card

Hi

When I first started blogging and making cards I saw a pyramage card on a site.  I started blogging in late 2009 and I have wanted to do one ever since.  (procrastinate much?)

I have had these pics in my P.O.T.D. (pile on the desk for those of you who haven't seen my blog before) for a very long time.  I finally decided to do them in pyramage.  I found a diamond on free card kits site and put it into SCAL and cut it out.  With that I popped up the layers with pop dots.

Yes, I know the angel is on the slant. lol  Perhaps she is flying down to earth?

I don't care for the way it turned out but perhaps I should try a different paper instead of photos. Even though I am not happy with it I am posting it.  In order to see the cuts I guess clicking on the pic would be in order.

Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

I think it's very pretty Myrna. I love the image, and the pretty blue border, and it has lots of dimension. I love the way you photographed it too!

Wow, that looks complicated. I love your image a lot. Your design in photography is lovely as well. Very captivating.

A very good effort for the first time. I find cutting the middle of things always difficult - the times I get a wonky aperture - more often than I care to remember. Brilliant try - very pretty too.

OK, so I must be losing it ... I don't see an angel and I don't see a photograph ... am I missing something????

OK, so I'm NOT losing it ... I was looking for a wreath and an angel in the card!!! I didn't even notice the surrounding area around the card!!!! Crap, I guess it's going to be "one of those" weeks!!

The technique and card are very pretty ... nice job Myrna.
