Valiant Dahlia and a Christmas card

Hi
Here is a pic of my valiant little dahlia plant.  If you are interested in the story it is posted in my blog under Dahlia.  Also if you click on it you can see that the poor little darling has the 2nd flower (which is dying) behind the plant.  Of course it is not an indoor plant and it has really given its all in producing those 3 flowers indoors.  It won't be long before all the leaves are dead and then I will put it away in the porch and see what it does next year.
To the left of the pic you can see some of my paper embroidery.  On top of the antique writing desk are just a few of the bells I have collected.  I love chimes and the bells were from relatives who have passed away.
The card is one of the Nellie Snellen folders from http://www.ecstasycrafts.com/.  Most of my Christmas cards will look like this with different colored matting.
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

Great job!
Easy peasy!
Poor dahlia!
I dug mine up this year when I dug up the gladiolias and begonias.
Gonna see what happens!
It was such a pretty color!

Hi Myrna,
Bubble and squeak doesn't have cheese in it and it is traditionally fried, whereas rumblethump is baked in the oven, and with grated cheese on the top :o)

That sure is a brave dahlia Myrna, I'm so glad you told us the story. I imagine that next summer, when it is out in the sunshine and warm weather, it will be beautiful!

Those are really gorgeous embossing folders. I don't have any yet, but they are on my wish list. You made a beautiful card with them, I love the glitter!
