Progress or is it?

Hi
I know I said I would be taking the summer off from blogging but every now and then something pops up that makes me want to share.
A couple of years ago where we live there used to be some lovely old homes and they were being torn down to make room for the LRT (light rail transit).  My friend and I were wandering through the yards and discovered this lovely old shed with the mural painted on it.  What a shame it had to go under the bulldozer.
I do have the urge to make a couple of cards so one of these days I will do that and post but in the meantime we have a porch to build and all those summer time things that take a person away from crafting.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.  We finally have sunshine and the promise of lovely warm weather for the long week end (July 1).
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

That's a great photo Myrna, it's good that you got a picture of it before it was gone forever. This photo would make a wonderful basis for a card! It could either be paper pieced, or printed out for the background of the card!

I find that there is inspiration every where I look!

It looks wonderful, how sad it will be no more! A shame they couldn't dismantle it and rebuild elsewhere :o(

What a fun photo to share. What a cool thing to have done. And yes, it's a shame it has been torn down. Thanks for your visit to my blog. You always make me smile. And yes, I had a fabulous time on the weekend. It is indeed nice to be back to the old Beth.

I'm glad you caught this shed in a photo - it's a great mural! I hope the train is a benefit to the community.

It is a shame to tear down old buildings, unless of course they are a hazard.
Yes summer does take away from our creating, but when winter comes we have plenty of time ;)

Lovely mural. Sad to know it had to be torn down, but good that you were able to get a picture.
Hope you are having a great summer. Good luck with the porch. :)
