A little wrapping paper fun

Hi,
I have had this wrapping paper for at least 10 years and decided it was time it got put to good use.  This is just stamping on the wrong side of the wrapping, paper, in mauve and purple tones,  as I wanted it to be muted so that the butterflies and flowers would be the focal point.  Then out came the trusty envelope punch board and the envelope was made.  There you have it, simple but, I think, rather pretty.
Have a Blessed day.

Hello friend and butterfly with Silhouette

Hi
If you  read my last post you know my camera is dying and it is very hard to get pics from it to the blog.  So I feel lucky that the last couple of pics have actually made it.  Not only is the camera dying but so is the keyboard :(
Just one more thing to goof up and that will be three and then hopefully all will be well for awhile.  lol
This butterfly is a print and cut from Silhouette Store cut on my Cameo.  Love that machine.  The hello friend is also a print and cut.  The butterfly and lady bug are rub ons that are raised.  The folder is a new one called Botanicals.  The envelope is made from the stash with the envelope punch board.    Ok I see that blogger isn't co-operating either so that must be the number three to go wrong.  Have a Blessed day.  Myrna

Birthday card for Hazel

Hi
Yes, it has been a very long time since I posted.  Life is starting to take on a new normal for me.
It has been a rough journey since January 1st and I have done very little cardmaking and I miss it.
Sorry the picture isn't clearer but my camera has decided to start dying. I think I was lucky to get this pic.
This is a lovely pic from Graphics Fairy, computer generated and spritzed with some shiny spray, a few pearls added and the same pic attached to the envelope and there you have it.
I have done one more but it needs to reach its destination before I can post it.  I hope I can slowly start getting a few more cards made.
Have a Blessed day.

MIA

Hi
Sorry for being missing in action.  Sometimes life gets in the way of our creating and blogging.  Right now that is what has happened to me; life just got horribly in the way.
I probably won't be doing much blogging and I want to say to my dear blogging friends, thank you for the support you have shown me and I hope to be back soon.  To the blogging friends I follow; I still look but haven't often got the time to comment.

Three remaining fun gifts

Hi
These are the remaining fun gifts I had made for Christmas.  They should be delivered by the time this is posted.  You who have read my other post regarding the book clock know the reason for late gifts.
I had to ask one of my neighbors if he could find me a Jack Daniels bottle as we don't drink.  The bottle is filled with hand soap and there is a pump that screws into the bottle.  This gift is for my grandson who has his own batchelor apartment.
The next one is a bean bag football.  It is filled with wheat and can be warmed in the microwave or cooled in the freezer.  This one is for my younger grandson who plays amazing football.
The third one is an apron cut from a mans shirt.  Such an easy project.  My youngest granddaughter loves aprons and cooking and lots of bright colors.  If you click on the picture you will see that the hems along the sides have little fish all along the hem.  Just one of the fancy stitches on my  old machine.  If anyone wants the pattern instructions I can send them.  Just send me your email address in the comment section.
Have a Blessed day.

The last of 2013 Christmas cards

Hi
This is the last of the Christmas cards but I couldn't post it until today when the recipient received it.
The penguins on the envelope bottom left are from the Silhouette Store and the envelope  is  made  on the SU envelope punch board. The penquins and igloo, etc. on the inside of the card are just peel offs made of chipboard from the Dollar Store.
The recipients of this card like penguins and they have a good sense of humour too.
Have a Blessed day.

Happy New Year to all. One of the fun gifts I made this year, a book clock.

Hi

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

We were unable to celebrate Christmas with our family this year but I had made some little fun gifts for my grandchildren who range in age from 24 to 17.  Their main gifts were under their tree but the cost of mailing the fun gifts was way too high.  Since someone was coming here at some point in January I kept the gifts here.  This is one I can show you as my eldest granddaughter picked it up last night.  You may have to click on the pic to see the detail.  This is a hardcover book with an area hollowed out and the clock mechanism put in the hollowed out part.  Then the cover had a hole drilled in it to allow the hands to work.  The numbers are just glittery peel offs.  The pages were glued together and the rest of them left open so you can get into the book to change the battery.   She loved it.

Have a Blessed day.
