Not a card

Hi
Just a little peek at what I have been doing.  We took a trip to my brothers in Creston, B.C. and raided his garden.
Here are mustard bean pickles, beet pickles and grape jelly, cherry jelly and strawberry jelly.  Did you know that if you have to reboil a batch you lose about half a jar?  I had to reboil 2 batches as when they were cool they were just syrup and that would never do.  There are several packages of carrots in the deep freeze ready for eating or making carrot cake.
While in Creston I had an opportunity to spend a little time with my blogging buddy, Gail, who was also visiting there.  It was great to see her but the time was too short.
The front porch is built and the new lawn is in and looks lovely.  My few tomato plants are starting to have a few red tomatoes and my pepper plants have a few nice size peppers.  Just a few more things to be done around the yard and then I hope I am ready for fall.
I love fall and hope to get a couple of fall cards done. I love laying in the hammock and watching the hawks circle the field in front of our home.
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

Look at all those jars. How fun to can. I used to can but that was so long ago. I love your carrots being prepped for carrot cake. Happy canning!

Wow Myrna, you've been busy, everything looks so good! Next time you come up with syrup instead of jelly, try it on pancakes. I did that once, and it was really good!

Oh, YUM! My mouth is watering just thinking about this. I would like to spread some on an English muffin for breakfast.

Myrna so lucky to have a hammock to relax in. I live in the city and we get to see those only when we go on holidays!
