Birthday teapot

Hi
Thank goodness for birthdays.  I have two very dear friends who are having birthdays this month and so I needed cards for them.   Perhaps this will get me back on card making before the summer is over.
The teapot is an svg from Birds Cards and the iris folding was from a wonderful tutorial by http://paperboutique.blogspot.com/.  I love making iris fold cards but so often the patterns I have aren't appropriate for the occasion.  This way I can use what ever cutout I want.  Love it.
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

Wowza, what an outstanding card! You mastered this technique that I find to be so difficult. As you said, thank goodness for birthdays.

Your card is beautiful Myrna. I've never done iris folding, but I should try it since I have a ton of old Anna Griffin cutouts left over from kits. (I used the paper for other things and never did the iris folding). Your beautiful card makes me want to try it!

This is gorgeous! I love iris folding, but hate trying to get a good hole for it. I never thought about using the electronic die cutter! you really are much smarter about those things than I am.
