Hi
My blogging friend Gail showed a lovely card on her blog here http://scrappintimes-gail.blogspot.ca/ and of course I had to copy her style !! So off to Michaels I went with my little coupon. Couldn't find the Metalics that she used so I bought a 6" x 6" pad of Foil Cardstock.
The vellum butterfly I have used before but this one was destined to become vellum flowers. It looked so good on the foil so I fussy cut it and popped it up with brown fun foam that I ran through the Xyron.
This is a photo taken in the (homemade) light box and it does show the true color of the foil. It also shows that the butterfly is popped up and some shadowing. :) The folder is a 5" x 6.5" Cuttlebug and that made the card 5.5" x 7".
Since the foil pad has a little hole for hanging and the folder was so big I had to emboss another piece of the foil and fussy cut a flower to cover it. lol
Ok, for those of you who want to see where, you will have to click on the pic and it is on the left side. lol
Have a Blessed day.

Baby dress card
Hi
Here is a quick cute little card. I found a great site for shaped svg cards at PaperScrapz in the templates library.
The inside has the same holes for ribbon. I used a Cuttlebug folder and pearls from the Dollar Store. Perhaps blue wasn't the best choice of color but it was handy.
Have a Blessed day.

Simple little card with vellum flower
Hi
When I get new folders I like to try them out. This is from a Marianne folder that has been just waiting for a chance to become a card. I used Perfect Pearls to color the vellum flower which was an experimental cut of vellum on the Cricut.
Have a Blessed day.

Another rose on vellum
Hi
Another rose on vellum paper. This one has paper roses I made and matted onto different paper.
Sometimes I end up with several copies because I am experimenting and can't bear to throw them away so they become cards. :)
Have a Blessed day.

Shaped card with flowers and butterflies
Hi
As most of you know I love shaped cards. This one is so cute and so easy and fun to do. Pardon the fingers on the backside of the card but it was the only way I could get it to photograph. I am playing with a light box I made. Today is so dark and gloomy and I think the light box worked pretty good.
Have a Blessed day.

Rose and poem on vellum
Hi
Well my photographic skills are none existent it seems. No matter where I put this card I couldn't get the poem to show, so you will just have to click on the pic to read it. Sorry.
It was printed on SU vellum and affixed over a black embossed strip. I should have left the strip off. However, maybe someone will like it, and I do post my booboos as well as the rest.
The corners are Cuttlebug dies.
Have a Blessed day.

Trellis and vellum flowers
Hi
I love trellis work, whether in the yard or on a card.
This beautiful trellis is an svg from Bird's Cards. For those of you who follow me, you know I use a lot of her svgs.
The flourish is from Cheery Lynn.
The flowers are pink vellum I made from the McGill punch and the butterfly is an svg in my files and glammed up with glitter.
Have a Blessed day.
