Sympathy card Faux silk
Hi,
I have no need of a sympathy card just yet but the poem here just cried out to me to make one.
The dandelion is from BeaOriginal site (sorry, at the moment I can only give you the site but not the link) and the poem is by Jerry Ham of Spokane, WA. He writes the most wonderful poetry. Jerry was kind enough to give me permission to use it on this card.
The card is done in my latest favorite technique (faux silk). I cut the dandelion with my Silhouette Cameo and then used the pen and the Cameo to draw a silvery gray one on the envelope. The faux silk is done in a silvery mauve tissue paper. I think I like how it turned out. :)
I am sure you will have to click on the poem to read it.
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

This is lovely, and the poem is wonderful!
I like how it turned out!
Your card is so pretty.
I find it easier to make sympathy cards before I need them, as when I need one I am busy cooking for the family and don't have time to make a card.
'Tis always better to make sympathy cards when they are not required, I keep a few in my box at all time.
This is so beautiful, as is the poem :o)

Sooo lovely and the poem as well. It's so hard to do sympathy cards during an emotional time. I have yet to try this technique too...faux silk. You have definitely mastered it!!!
