Tea Time
Hi
Have you ever seen a card and thought I need to do that one? Well that is what happened when I saw this on She's a Sassy Lady. http://shesasassylady.blogspot.com Thank you Sheila for the time you spent helping me.
The only problem with that was Sheila was doing it on Gypsy. So of course I had to try and figure it out. Been meaning to try and learn how to join letters to the edge of a card anyway. So I decided SCAL should be able to do it. I will not tell you how long or what the process was but suffice to say by the end of getting the card to cut I was frustrated. I managed to weld the letters to the card top but had to cut the sides by hand.
So without spending more time on that I used a teapot svg from The Quilling Patch and a tea cup svg from Penny Duncan Creations. Cuttlebug Swiss dots and some bling and the tea bags. Printed the sentiment on the computer and added a tea pot to the envelope and that was that.
If I do this again (which I probably will) I will use a different font to make fatter letters; and yes I know the tea cup on the inside is crooked on the saucer. lol
Have a Blessed day.
Myrna

Very nice!~
I think you're in a 'blue' phase!
I like your card :)
As frustrating as it was to make, it turned out so cute :)
Great card! My favorite part is how it looks like there is just a tea pot hiding in the envelope. Very cute! Best, Curt
Cute card and you learned a lot so it should go easier the next time!
That is a really cute project, Myrna. As I get older, I am finding anything new is challenging to learn but I did manage to figure out my Gypsy and it was well worth the effort (and frustration!).
Myrna, your card is just beautiful. Isn't wonderful when we work this hard to accomplish something and it turns out so beautiful? Love it. Love that you have linked this beautiful card to my blog. Have a blessed day!
Hi, Myrna! I agree with Sheila, your card is beautiful!!!
Thanks so much for coming over to visit with me and for taking time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate that. I do look forward to a continuing relationship so I'm now a follower of yours too!
Good luck in winning my rak, my friend!
Thank you so much, Myrna, for the sweet comment you left me. You're a sweetheart!
Fabulous card Myrna! Love the tea pot cut you used! The lettering isnt all that bad and doesnt need to be fatter letters. What a neat idea to hold tea bags too! Did you decorate the inside of the envelope as well.. it matches perfectly!
Hugs,
Sheree
You do the coolest cards with your diecuts! I love the little pocket for the teabags.
