Hi
I know I said I would be taking the summer off from blogging but every now and then something pops up that makes me want to share.
A couple of years ago where we live there used to be some lovely old homes and they were being torn down to make room for the LRT (light rail transit). My friend and I were wandering through the yards and discovered this lovely old shed with the mural painted on it. What a shame it had to go under the bulldozer.
I do have the urge to make a couple of cards so one of these days I will do that and post but in the meantime we have a porch to build and all those summer time things that take a person away from crafting.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. We finally have sunshine and the promise of lovely warm weather for the long week end (July 1).
Have a Blessed day.

Summertime and the living is easy!!
SummertimeAnd the living is easy
Fish are jumping
The cotton is high
Oh your daddy’s rich
Your mama’s good looking
I said hush little baby
Don’t you cry.
This may well just be my theme song for this summer and since the mojo seems to have taken a slight vacation I am going to quit feeling so guilty about not posting and just coast until the mojo comes back. I hope you will understand and when the spirit moves me and I get a card done I will post. So for now the cards will be sporadic.
Thank you all for following me and leaving me such great and encouraging comments. Hope to see you all soon.
Have a great summer.

Diamonds and lily
Hi
This card has been sitting on my desk for awhile now just waiting for the bow. Today I bit the bullet and made a bow.
The idea for the card came from a card I fell in love with but over time the sticky note I had attached to it got mixed up with other pieces of paper and I am sorry I cannot tell you who made it. What I can tell you is that at the time I wanted to make the card I emailed the lady and she graciously gave her consent for me to copy it. Thank you and if you know whose card I copied please let me know and I will give her credit.
Have a Blessed day.

Michaels 16th birthday card
Hi
It's been awhile since I posted and probably if I didn't have a couple of birthday cards to make it would be longer still. I really have no excuse except spring fever???
The Porsche is computer generated on photo paper. Unfortunately, it was polaroid photo paper and the ink smeared so I just covered it with a sheet of plastic and put a border around it.
The cute car is an svg from PapaSue Creations but instead of cutting it as an svg I used the picture and popped it up with 2 layers and pop dots. Used some stickles for the wheels and flowers to give it some bling. The birthday money is tucked inside the car and he will have to dig it out from under the spare tire. (I know, diabolical grandma lol)
Generated the sentiments on the computer and printed on white cardstock and die cut with a Cuttlebug folder. The sentiment will show if you click on the red car.
That was it for me.
Have a Blessed day.

Lilac rose easel card
Hi
This cute little easel card is a freebie from Shirley's Cards and I just love the colors and how easy it came together. (of course, she did all the work tee hee) The rose is popped up and of course, I had to add some bling.
It really isn't crooked, it was just the way I had it sitting.
Have a Blessed day.

April Showers bring----
Hi
It seems we have all been having lots of showers.
I found this cute little scene as an svg on Treasure Box Designs. They had a duck, but I had this sweet little kitten digi from Sliejke that I wanted to use.
I printed the kitten on shiny card stock (from the scrap pile) and fussy cut it out.
Popped up the clouds, the puddle and umbrella with pop dots. A few raindrops and a few flowers and printed the digi on the envelope and colored it with regular pencil crayons and OMS and that was it.
Probably clicking on the pic would show it off better. Just saying.
Have a Blessed day.

True Love
Hi
This was such a quick little card to do. I always give my daughter a Mothers Day card and this will be the one this year.
The die is Marianne Design DS0908.
The flowers are some I made in the p.o.t.d (pile on the desk) the true love sentiment and butterfly are probably from the Dollar Store.
The background is a lovely green linen cardstock but it doesn't show that well. I didn't line the envelope because the flowers are too high to fit in one so it will be given by hand.
Have a Blessed day.
